Some good morning, buddy — this is Halifax, and we have stories.
### Your umbrellas are staying home today
It’s one of those mornings where the harbour looks like glass, and the sun’s just sitting pretty over George’s Island, you know? A perfect start to the day here in Halifax. We don't have any wild weather alerts trying to blow us off the ferry or anything, which is some good news, especially this time of year when you never know what the Atlantic's gonna throw at you. No snow squalls trying to shut down the MacKay Bridge, no sheets of rain making Spring Garden Road a slick mess.
It's clear skies, my son, and it looks like it'll be a beautiful day for walking down to the waterfront or maybe grabbing a coffee from your favourite spot. No major civic news trying to shake things up at City Hall either, which sometimes means things are ticking along just fine, and sometimes it just means everyone's still waking up. We'll be keeping an eye on things, naturally, but for now, enjoy the calm.
It's a good day to be out and about, folks.
