Your 311 calls about potholes just hit 5,000. Really, NYC?

So look, your 311 app is probably lookin’ real familiar these days, 'cause according to the latest data, New Yorkers are *pissed* about potholes and not havin' heat. Deadass, "Street Condition / Pothole" is number one with over five thousand requests. Five thousand! That’s like, enough potholes to swallow a whole block in Astoria, right? And right behind it, "HEAT/HOT WATER / ENTIRE BUILDING" is clockin' in at 4,566 calls. Yea, that’s almost four-and-a-half thousand buildings where folks are tryin' to take a cold shower in January. That’s just… not right.

Meanwhile, while we're all freezin' and bouncin' down the Grand Central Parkway, you got firms like Constantinople & Vallone Consulting LLC and Davidoff Hutcher & Citron LLP still doin' their thing on the lobbyist registry for folks like ZB Pearl LLC and Cong. Elimulei Torah, with their entries good through 2026. Nah, I ain't sayin' they shouldn't do their jobs, but it's just a reminder of where the focus often lies. We gotta see if City Hall actually starts patchin' these streets and fixin' these boilers before next winter.

That's New York — if you can't keep up, take the bus.
