Your tires are screaming. Philly's potholes are still number one.

Your street got some potholes or nah?

Listen, if you been driving around West Philly or really anywhere near a SEPTA bus route, you know these streets ain't exactly smooth. And the 311 calls? They tell the whole jawn. I'm not even gonna hold you, "Street Defect" is still way up there on the list for what folks are calling about. We're talking a whole lotta requests about potholes and cracked up roads. It’s not just a minor annoyance, people are hitting these craters trying to get their kids to school or get to work down 52nd Street. It costs wooder ice money to fix your tires, you know?

Meanwhile, on the development tip, ain't much jumping off. No new demolition permits, no big additions, not even a fire suppression jawn. It's kinda quiet, which, for some folks in neighborhoods dealing with all that gentrification down in Fishtown, might actually be a good thing. But for others hoping for some new jobs or something, it's just crickets. We gonna have to see if this quiet spell is just temporary or if it's the new normal for our city.

That's the jawn, Philly — we don't do fake out here.

Kee.

Me and the whole crew talk about this kinda jawn every morning, you can tap in at mornings.live.
