Your kids' school just signed a third deal. Get ready for cuts.

Okay so, let's talk about the schools, fam.

### Your kids' school district just signed another agreement, but it's not all good news.

The San Francisco Unified School District just inked its *third* labor agreement in two months, according to a release from Friday, March 20th. On one hand, that's hella quick work getting those deals done. On the other, the district is straight-up predicting a "major budget shortfall" because of it. We've seen this before, right? It's like when a new startup moves into that old bookstore on Clement Street – you know it's gonna be a whole thing with the rent eventually. The SFUSD is always a tightrope walk, balancing the needs of our teachers and staff with the reality of the City's finances. You gotta wonder if all these agreements, however necessary, are just pushing the big reckoning further down the line. What we need to watch for next is how they plan to bridge that gap without cutting programs our kids rely on.

That's the City, fam — fog, hills, and all.
