Windsor police waited 4 months for Nancy Grewal. Why?

Your friend just died and police waited months to ask for help

Good morning from the border — where Canada meets America and neither one blinks. This is Windsor.

Alors, on a des nouvelles qui me tournent dans la tête ce matin, you know? It’s about Nancy Grewal, the woman who was stabbed to death in LaSalle a few months back. But before that, back in November, someone tried to burn down her porch. Now her sister is asking *why* it took so long for the police to release the video of that arson attempt. Four months, *mija*? Four months went by, and then Nancy is gone, and *now* they're asking for help? It just makes you wonder, doesn't it? Like, what happened in those months? Was someone not connecting the dots between an arson attempt on a porch in Sandwich Town, ou même près d'Ouellette, and what happened later?

It’s not like Windsor is some huge metropolis where things get lost in the shuffle, eh? We see everything on this side of the river, especially with Detroit right there in our face. People here, we talk, we know our neighbours. When something like that happens, especially something so violent, it sends a ripple through the community. And when information is held back, it just makes people feel less safe, you know? It’s a gut feeling, but it just feels… *wrong*.

Marco and the crew are always talking about this kind of stuff every morning on the show — catch it live at mornings.live.
