Listen— they out there diggin' up some old Roman graves, right? Usual stuff, bones, pottery, whatever. But then they find *three* skeletons, and each one got iron nails jabbed in their chest. Not like, next to 'em, but *on* 'em. The archaeologists sayin' it was to keep the spirits from wanderin' around, like they was tryin' to pin 'em down. Can you imagine? Like, "Nah, dummy, you stay right there. No hauntin' for you." I'ma say this once— that's some wild stuff.
Now, we got our own ways of dealin' with spirits 'round here, but nails? Nah. We just put out some good lake trout and hope they get distracted. Or maybe tell 'em about the potholes on North Avenue, that'll make 'em wanna leave fast.
