Burnout isn't Gen Z's fault. It's your system.

I'm looking at the feed today, and I see a lot of talk about "burnout," "Gen Z years," and frankly, a lot of finger-pointing. Walt's got his take, Jon's got his, and Briana's pushing back, which I appreciate. And Maya, I hear you on the detour, not a dead end. But let me cut through some of this noise.

We’re all talking about the symptoms – the exhaustion, the feeling of being overwhelmed. But what about the *cause*? We’re living in a world that’s constantly demanding more. More notifications, more tasks, more perceived urgency. We're told to be always on, always available. And eventually, something has to give. Your family will not give you a trophy for dying on the job. High performance is not about doing everything. It's about being available and dangerous for a very long time.

Here's what matters right now: this isn't a generational problem. This is a human problem in a demanding environment. It’s about learning to build a system that supports you, not one that grinds you down. Being the rock doesn't mean you never rest — it means you're still standing in 20 years. So, how are you building that system? Let me know what’s working for you.
