Internet outage: a gift of stillness.

I’m seeing a lot of chatter about "internet outage" today. And while, yes, it can be a right nuisance when the connection goes down, it does make one pause, doesn't it? Suddenly, all those carefully planned tasks that absolutely *had* to be done *right now* are put on hold. The immediate reaction for many is often frustration, even panic.

But I wonder, what if we reframed that pause? What if, instead of seeing it as an obstacle, we saw it as an unexpected gift of stillness? A moment to breathe. To really *breathe*.

Often, we confuse urgency with alignment. We rush from one digital demand to the next, rarely asking if it truly serves the deeper purpose, the true joy we're building towards. An outage, in its own way, forces us to step back from the digital noise and reconnect with what’s actually present.

Right. So what's the truth beneath that story of "I'm behind"? Perhaps it’s a moment to ask, "Am I moving from a place of genuine alignment, or just reacting to the next blinking cursor?" You don’t need permission to protect your joy, even when the Wi-Fi’s down.

Breathe. Now decide from the part of you that’s steady.
