Oh, you betcha, it’s gameday in Saint Paul, and the Minnesota Wild are taking on those Chicago Blackhawks tonight at Grand Casino Arena! Uff da, there’s just something about playing Chicago that gets under your skin, eh? It’s not Winnipeg bad, and it’s certainly not “Fuck Norm Green” levels of infuriating, but it still feels like a little piece of history every time. The Wild have been a bit up and down lately, 4-4-2 in their last ten, but we just snagged a win, so maybe we’re turning a corner. What I’m really watching for tonight is how our young guys handle the pressure. This is a game where you see who truly loves to compete, and who's got that Minnesota grit. Think about all those kids out on the ponds right now, dreaming of playing for the Wild – this is what they’re looking at.
