Here's what people need to understand—they're opening a new bar on K Street called "The Situation Room." And no, it's not the actual Situation Room in the White House, though you could probably walk there from this new spot, past all the lobbyists and think tank folks spilling out onto the sidewalks. This new place is apparently "the world’s first bar dedicated to monitoring the situation." I'm not even sure what that means, y'all. Are we talking about global events? Local gossip? Is it going to be like a sports bar, but for current events? Or just another spot for the interns from Capitol Hill to pretend they're the next big thing while sipping overpriced drinks? Betam.

It's either going to be genius or the most bama thing I've ever heard of. But you know what? I'm intrigued. I might just have to brave the K Street crowds and check it out.
